For the other characters in lord of the flies, the only ones worth mentioning is piggy simon roger and the twins. Piggy is the voice of reason, he is the one that gets ralph in the right mind and keeps him on the road of reason, roger becomes the most savage out of all of them killing piggy in the end, the twins stick with ralph almost to the end but are turned around with the threat of violence or death but are still loyal to ralph.

On the surface this book is about a couple of kids that get stranded on an island, but now that i'm almost 3/4 through the book i realized its about a lot more, its about human nature and the ability to survive and do the right thing. The boys at first are very happy on this island but soon it all takes a turn to the worst, and soon the boys split up into two groups because of these priorities. Ralph the protagonist in this story represents sensibility and reason while Jack resorts to savageness and the thrill of hunt, anyway the kids nature progressively tears them apart and brings out their inner beast.
